The Maryland College GOP is the leading voice for young conservatives in the Old Line State. We aim to empower members across the state to play a legitimate role in Making Maryland Great Again and putting Maryland First. Recently, our Chairman has released his top priorities for the 2026 Legislative Session. 

 

Our priorities emphasize the perspective of Maryland students who want to contribute to a better future in our state. Young people feel the burden of the rising cost of living and are concerned with radical decisions made by Maryland's far-left supermajority.

 

United by these concerns and the desire to enact pragmatic solutions to the problems that face our state, the Maryland Federation of College Republicans issues its 2026 Priorities.

We urge the General Assembly to:

• Codify students' right to self defense on-campus.

• Fighting for Innocent Children.

• Reduce regulations on building new homes. 

• Re-empower local permit review power. 

• Put Maryland First & allow local governments to partner with ICE.
