Hunter Petit

Vice President of Digital Content

Hunter is a junior Information Systems and Government & Politics double major at the University of Maryland. Hunter started getting involved in politics during the 2016 election where he volunteered for GOP Presidential candidates Carly Fiorina and Sen. Marco Rubio. In 2018, Hunter volunteered on Governor Hogan's historic reelection campaign.

Hunter got involved in CRs at UMD during his freshman year where he was an active member. Since his freshman year, Hunter has held the titles of Secretary and Vice President on UMDCR's executive board and is an active member of the MDFCRs Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

In his free time, Hunter enjoys hanging out with friends, discussing and debating politics, and reading about current events.

Hunter looks forward to working with College Republicans from all over our great state to get more young people involved in the political process and to create a Republican Party of tomorrow that people, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or differing views want to be apart of.
